You can bring it to our store on Beach Road, where we weigh, XRF-test and price each piece against our published karat rates while you watch. Under S$20,000 you're paid the same day; S$20,000 and above takes two to five business days.

What gold jewellery do you buy?

We buy gold jewellery. Any karat we publish a rate for is one we'll weigh and pay on, whether that's a wedding band, a chain, an earring on its own or a bag of mixed pieces you've been meaning to clear out. There's no minimum amount, so a single earring is worth bringing in on its own. Broken clasps, bent settings and jewellery with no maker's mark are all fine. We pay on the gold inside the piece, so a snapped chain is worth the same as one that still closes.

Gold jewellery is the one line we buy. We don't take silver jewellery, and you don't need a receipt. We buy back metal we didn't sell you in the first place, so where the piece came from isn't the question. What it's made of is.

What do I need to bring?

  • The jewellery itself, however many pieces.
  • Your NRIC or your passport. We verify identity on every buy-back, because we're licensed and regulated by the Ministry of Law as a precious metals dealer and that licence requires it.
  • Any certificate or assay card you still have, though most jewellery doesn't come with one and that's fine too.

You don't need anything else. Walk in during our opening hours, or message us on WhatsApp first if you'd rather book a time. Both work.

What happens when I bring my jewellery to the counter?

Everything happens in front of you, so you can see each step rather than take our word for it.

First, we weigh each piece. Then every piece goes under our XRF machine, which reads what the metal actually is rather than what a stamp claims it to be. A hallmark can tell you what a piece was made as, but it isn't a test on its own, so we never read a number off a stamp and treat that as the purity.

Once we know the weight and the karat, we match the piece to the karat rate we publish that day. If you've brought in several pieces, we can weigh and test them as one batch and sort the figures out piece by piece afterwards. Either way, you see the full number, the weighed total and the price, before you agree to anything. Weighing and testing is free, whether or not you decide to sell.

Checking what we pay today takes a minute, and it's worth doing before you set off.

Every rate we pay for gold jewellery is on one page, and it moves with the market each day.

How do you work out what my jewellery is worth?

The price is the weighed weight of the gold multiplied by the rate for the karat it tests as. There's no single price for a ring or a chain, because two pieces of the same design can carry different amounts of actual gold.

Gold and silver are never added together, so if your batch has both, you'll get two separate totals rather than one blended figure. And if a piece doesn't match any karat we list, we leave it out of the total rather than guess, and we tell you which piece that is and why.

Can I be paid in money, or trade in for bullion instead?

Both, and the choice is yours. If you'd rather leave with money, you're paid out at the standard rate for each karat. If you'd rather put the value towards a gold or silver bar or coin, that's a trade-in, and the share of your batch that goes towards the bullion you're buying is paid at a higher rate than a straight payout. You'll see both figures before you decide, so you're never choosing blind.

How and when do I get paid?

Nothing is priced until you've confirmed the weighed and tested figures, so what you agree to at the counter is what you're paid on.

Under S$20,000, we pay by PayNow or bank transfer the same day. S$20,000 and above takes between two and five business days. Either way, the money goes to an account in your own name. We never pay a buy-back into somebody else's account, so it can't be sent to a friend, a relative or a company on your behalf.

What happens to my jewellery after you buy it?

It doesn't go back on sale. We send what we buy to a refiner in batches, so the gold is recovered as metal rather than resold as jewellery to someone else.

Questions we are asked about this

Where can I sell gold jewellery in Singapore?
You can sell it to us at our store at Golden Mile Tower on Beach Road, where every piece is weighed and tested in front of you. Walk in during opening hours, or message us on WhatsApp first if you'd rather book a time. Both work.
How much is my gold jewellery worth?
It depends on the weight of the gold inside it and the rate we pay for its karat, not on the piece as a whole. We publish our karat rates and they move with the market, so check today's rate before you come in, then let us weigh and test the piece for the figure that actually applies to you.
Do I need identification to sell gold jewellery?
Yes. We're licensed and regulated by the Ministry of Law as a precious metals dealer, and that licence requires us to check who we're buying from. Bring your NRIC or your passport.
Will you still buy it if I don't have a receipt or don't trust the hallmark?
Yes. You don't need a receipt, and a stamp on its own never decides the price. We test each piece on our XRF machine and weigh it ourselves, so what you're paid on comes from what the piece actually is, not what it says on it.
Will you buy broken, bent or unbranded gold jewellery?
Yes. Broken clasps, bent chains and pieces with no maker's mark are all fine. We pay on the gold inside, so the condition of the piece or the lack of a brand doesn't change what the metal itself is worth.
Is there a minimum amount to sell?
No. We buy any amount, so a single earring or a small chain is worth bringing in just as much as a full batch.
Is the appraisal free?
Yes. Weighing and testing your jewellery costs nothing, whether or not you decide to sell afterwards.
Does the karat of my jewellery actually matter?
Yes, it's the main thing that sets the price. We match every piece to a karat on our published list and pay the weighed weight at that karat's rate. If a piece doesn't match any karat we list, we leave it out of the total and tell you which piece and why.
Should I sell my gold jewellery outright, or look at other ways to get value from it?
That's your decision, and it depends on whether you want the value back for good or only need it for a while. Selling to us means the piece is gone and you're paid out or you trade in. It isn't a loan, so there's nothing to redeem later.
Can I trade my gold jewellery in for a bar or coin instead of being paid?
Yes. If you'd rather not leave with money, you can put the value towards a gold or silver bar or coin, and the share of your batch that goes towards that bullion is paid at a higher rate than a straight payout. We'll show you both figures before you decide.
How soon will I be paid?
Under S$20,000, you're paid by PayNow or bank transfer the same day. S$20,000 and above takes between two and five business days, and either way the money goes to an account in your own name.
What happens to my jewellery once you've bought it?
It doesn't go back on sale. We send it to a refiner in batches, so what you sell us is recovered as metal rather than resold as jewellery.
