A one troy ounce cast bar of 999.9 fine gold from Heraeus, the German precious metals group, finished with the rose design. One troy ounce — 31.1035 grams — is the unit gold is quoted in worldwide, which makes it the most widely recognised bar size there is: any dealer in any market prices it instantly. That liquidity is the main practical argument for buying at 1 oz rather than a cheaper-per-gram larger bar. As a cast bar it is poured rather than struck, giving the softer surface and bar-to-bar variation characteristic of the format, and a lower premium over spot than an equivalent minted bar. All pickups are done by appointment in store. Walk-ins are subject to availability.
For orders under S$5,000, we provide insured delivery at a flat fee of S$30 for convenience.
