Big Bullion Pte Ltd is registered with Singapore's Ministry of Law as a regulated precious metals dealer, certificate number PS20250000846. That registration exists to stop the gold and silver trade being used to launder money, and it comes with real duties we have to meet on every transaction.

Who we are

Big Bullion Pte Ltd is a Singapore precious metals dealer. We sell and buy back physical investment-grade gold and silver, bars and coins from refiners and mints you'll know, and we also buy gold jewellery and scrap, at prices based on the live spot price. Every one of those transactions runs through the registration below.

The certificate above is issued by the Registrar of Regulated Dealers at the Ministry of Law. It registers Big Bullion Pte. Ltd., certificate number PS20250000846, to carry on business as a regulated dealer from 27 November 2025, and the registration runs to 26 November 2026 unless it's suspended or cancelled earlier. One condition comes with it: we're authorised to act as a regulated dealer at a maximum of one place of business.

About Big Bullion

What the registration actually requires of us

Registering isn't a form you fill in once. It comes with ongoing duties, all aimed at the same thing: making it harder for anyone to move money through gold and silver without leaving a paper trail.

  • Checking who you actually are before certain transactions go ahead, rather than taking a name at face value.
  • Reporting any transaction paid in cash or a cash equivalent above S$20,000 to a Suspicious Transaction Reporting Officer.
  • Keeping records that show what we did to check a customer and a transaction, not just that we did something.
  • Reporting anything that looks like money laundering or terrorism financing, whatever the amount involved.

What it does not cover

The registration answers one question: are we being watched for money laundering and terrorism financing. It doesn't mean the Ministry of Law has approved or endorsed our business, checked our prices, or certified that any product we sell is genuine. The certificate says so directly, and asks every customer to use their own judgement alongside it.

Why it matters to you

It means you can check we're real, rather than taking our word for it. Anyone can look at the certificate above or the public register and see that we're actually registered, not just claiming to be. It also explains something you might otherwise find odd: when we ask for identification before a larger purchase or a cash sale, that isn't us being suspicious of you personally. It's a legal duty we carry on every transaction, the same one every registered dealer in Singapore carries.

Registration happens under the Precious Stones and Precious Metals (Prevention of Money Laundering, Terrorism Financing and Proliferation Financing) Act 2019, administered by the Ministry of Law's Anti-Money Laundering/Countering the Financing of Terrorism Division. Read 27 September 2026.

Its own site, acd.mlaw.gov.sg, publishes the regulatory regime and the list of currently registered dealers, which is where you can check any dealer, ours included. Read 27 September 2026.

How to check for yourself

Start with the certificate at the top of this page. It carries our registration number, our registered name and the dates it covers, straight from the Ministry of Law. From there, the public register linked above lets you confirm the same thing independently, any time you want.

Questions we are asked about this

Is Big Bullion actually licensed, or does it just say so?
We're registered as a regulated dealer with the Ministry of Law, certificate number PS20250000846. The certificate is on this page, and the same registration is on the Ministry's own public register.
What is Big Bullion registered to do?
To carry on business as a regulated dealer in precious stones and precious metals, from one place of business, under the Ministry of Law's anti-money-laundering rules.
Does being registered mean the Ministry of Law checks your prices or your stock?
No. The registration is about preventing money laundering and terrorism financing. It says nothing about our prices, our stock, or whether a specific product is genuine, and the certificate itself says that directly.
Why do you need my identification to buy or sell with you?
Because we're a registered dealer, the law requires us to check who we're dealing with before certain transactions go ahead. It's a duty we carry on every customer, not a judgement on you.
