The cheapest way to buy gold from us is a bigger bar, paid for by PayNow or bank transfer and collected in store. A bigger bar carries a lower premium for each gram, a bank payment avoids the card fee, and collecting in store costs nothing extra.

Start with the size of the bar

Every bar costs the value of its gold at spot, plus our premium. The premium is the part you can bring down. It pays for making, testing and handling the bar, and that work costs about the same whether a bar is small or large. Spread over more grams, it comes to less for each gram.

Every gold bar we hold is on one page, priced live against spot.

That is why the smallest bar and the cheapest bar are not the same thing. The smallest bar has the lowest price tag. A larger bar usually has the lowest premium for each gram. The table below shows both, for every bar we hold right now.

Pay by PayNow or bank transfer

Paying by Visa, Mastercard or Amex adds a processing fee, in store and online. It is 2.9% on a domestic card and 3.9% on an international card. On a large order that is a real amount of money. PayNow and bank transfer do not carry it.

Collect in store

Collecting in store is our default and costs nothing extra. If you ask us to deliver, the cost is quoted for your address at checkout, and delivery is free for orders above S$50,000. Whichever you choose, collect inside the time shown on your order, because a late collection fee applies after that.

This page is about our own range. The premium on any bar changes with the bar, so use the table above for today's figures.

Questions we are asked about this

What is the cheapest gold bar to buy in Singapore?
It depends on what you measure. The smallest bar has the lowest price tag. The bar with the lowest premium for each gram is usually a larger one. The table on this page shows both for every bar we hold.
Do bigger gold bars have a lower premium per gram than small ones in Singapore?
Usually, yes, because the cost of making and handling a bar is spread over more grams. The gap differs from bar to bar, so check the live table for the sizes you are looking at.
Where is the best place to buy gold bars in Singapore if I have S$10,000?
We can only speak for our own range. Use the table to see which bars S$10,000 covers, then compare the premium for each gram. One larger bar usually costs less above spot than several small ones, and paying by PayNow or bank transfer and collecting in store keeps the rest of the cost down.
Is there a fee for paying by card?
Yes. Visa, Mastercard and Amex carry a processing fee of 2.9% on a domestic card and 3.9% on an international card, in store and online. PayNow and bank transfer do not.
Does collecting in store cost anything?
No. Collecting in store is free. Delivery is quoted for your address at checkout and is free for orders above S$50,000.
