Yes. Bring your silver to us and we value it at our buy-in price, then you put that value towards gold at the shop price, all in one visit. There is no minimum, and it works the other way too, gold for silver.
How a silver-for-gold swap works
A swap is a trade-in. We weigh and test your silver, value it at our buy-in price, and take that value off the price of the gold you choose. Gold is charged at the shop price, the same as any other customer pays. You pay or receive the difference, and it is settled in one visit.
There is no minimum amount. One small bar or a bag of coins is treated the same way. The buy-in price and the shop price all move with the market, so the figures are live on our swap page and are not repeated here.
Our swap page shows what your silver is worth towards gold, using today's figures.
Swap silver for goldWhen a swap makes sense
People usually swap when they want to hold less silver and more gold. Silver takes up far more space for the same value, and some prefer the smaller, denser store of value. The reverse also happens: someone sells gold into silver because they want more ounces for the same money.
The gold to silver ratio is a rough guide to the relative price of the two metals. When it is high, an ounce of gold buys a lot of silver. Our gold to silver ratio article shows how it has moved since 2000. It tells you where prices have been, not where they are going, so use it as background and not as a signal.
What to bring
- The silver you want to swap, in any form: bars, coins, jewellery or scrap.
- Your NRIC or passport. We check identity on every trade-in.
- Any receipt or certificate you still have. It helps, but it is not needed.
A worked example
This example uses invented rates for 23 October 2026. They are not our prices. Say your silver is valued at S$2.30 a gram at our buy-in price, and the gold you want is S$170 a gram at the shop price. One kilogram of silver is then worth S$2,300 towards gold. That covers a 10 g gold bar at S$1,700, and leaves S$600, which you can take as a payout or put towards another piece.
On the day, your figures will be different. We show them to you before you decide, and nothing is priced until you have confirmed the weighed and tested amounts.
