Physical investment-grade gold, held in Singapore and priced live against the SGD gold spot price. Our bars run from 2 g gift bars through to 1 kg cast bars in 999.9 fine gold. They come from LBMA-accredited refiners: PAMP Suisse, Argor-Heraeus, Heraeus, Credit Suisse and Metalor.

Minted bars or cast bars?

Minted bars are struck from rolled sheet and arrive sealed in an assay card, with a tighter tolerance on finish. They are the usual choice under 100 g and the easier format to resell in small pieces. Cast bars are poured into a mould, so the surface is rougher and the finish varies bar to bar. They cost less to produce, so they generally carry a lower premium over spot. At 100 g and above, cast is normally the cheaper way to hold the same weight of gold.

What you pay over spot

Every price on this page is the live SGD gold spot price multiplied by the bar's weight, plus our premium. Smaller bars carry a higher premium per gram. The refining, packaging and handling cost is close to fixed regardless of size. A 2 g bar costs nearly as much to produce as a 100 g one. If you are buying for weight rather than divisibility, larger bars are consistently better value per gram.

GST and capital gains

Most bars we sell qualify as Investment Precious Metals (IPM). IPM has been exempt from GST in Singapore since October 2012. To qualify, gold must be at least 99.5% pure, tradeable internationally and priced on spot. Singapore also levies no capital gains tax. GST treatment depends on the specific product. We will always tell you whether an item is IPM-qualifying before you buy.

Collection and delivery

Collect in person at our showroom at Golden Mile Tower #02-21, 6001 Beach Road. We are open Monday to Saturday from 12pm to 7pm. You can also take fully insured door-to-door delivery across Singapore. Every bar is either sourced directly from an LBMA-accredited mint or passed through our three-part testing standard first.
