A 10 gram minted bar of 999 fine gold carrying the Credit Suisse name — for decades one of the most recognised marks in the bullion market, and still readily traded on the secondary market today. Minted bars are struck from rolled sheet rather than poured, giving clean edges and a consistent finish. 10 grams is the size most buyers start at: it is a meaningful amount of gold without committing to a larger bar, and it stays easy to sell as a single piece. Bear in mind that premium per gram falls as bar size rises — the production and handling cost behind a bar barely changes with weight, so it is a larger share of the price on smaller bars. If you are buying purely for metal content and do not need to divide your holding, a larger bar will get you more gold for the same money. Priced live against the SGD gold spot price.
